One desk for every U.S. uniformed service we list

Military Unit Portal is built around a soldier record — unique code, rank, unit, MOS or rating, and next of kin — not around a separate website per branch. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force personnel can be attached to a filing when a code exists.

What “serving all branches” means here

The public pages, guest flow, and soldier workspace are the same regardless of service. The difference is the data on the soldier record: unit, rank, and specialty fields the administrator maintains.

This is not a DoD portal and not a replacement for milConnect, NSIPS, or similar government systems.

Family across assignments

When a household moves with a redeployment packet, dependents are listed on that form. Care packs still require the unique code and a ship-to the mail room will accept. Call cards use the same unique code; minutes email to the buyer address after payment is confirmed.

Need the live form? Current fees, durations, and catalog items are on Services. Amounts on the form are the amounts that apply.

Questions on this topic

What is Military Unit Portal and what can I do here?

Military Unit Portal is a personnel support desk for U.S. service members and authorized family. From one account session you can file paid military leave (fifteen categories), retirement, redeployment, and service-dog adoption; order care packs and call cards; attach a soldier unique code so the request is tied to the correct record; and track status with the reference emailed after you submit. Administrators review identity, payment proof, and the packet before a status change is mailed. About the portal

Who is allowed to use the portal?

Service members who have been issued a soldier unique code and portal password can sign in to the personnel workspace. A spouse, parent, child, sibling, or other authorized family member may continue as a guest or create a family account. Every filing still requires a valid unique code so the packet is attached to the right soldier. Do not file in someone else’s name without authority to act for that member.

Whose identity goes on the application — the soldier or the family member?

Complete the applicant block in the name of the person actually filing. If the soldier is filing, use self and the soldier’s identity documents. If a spouse or parent is filing, use that person’s legal name, date of birth, tax ID, photo, and ID images, and set relationship to spouse, parent, child, sibling, or other. The soldier unique code still ties the packet to the service member.

Can I file if I am under 18?

Applicant date of birth must show the filer is at least 18. A minor is not the applicant of record on this desk. An adult spouse, parent, or other authorized adult files in their own identity and lists the relationship to the service member.

What are care packs?

Care packs are catalog kits with listed contents (hygiene, food, kids mail, morale crates). Price is the amount on the product card. You attach the soldier unique code, complete buyer identity, and pay with a posted method. At checkout choose send to yourself (your identity address) or send to the service member — the system fills unit, barracks, and duty station from the personnel file. After payment is confirmed, staff pack and ship, or issue a store pickup code if you chose that. Packs are not government issue. Care packs
